A bond that lasts a lifetime
Nurturing the bond and including your dog as part of the family is behind what we do here at Howls & Prowls - Happy owners means happy dogs and vice versa.
Learn what makes your dog tick and use this knowledge to propel your training forward and create a partnership to be proud of
More than training, Howls & Prowls aim to offer the best, up to date and ethical support to dog owners, enriching the lives of both owner and dog in a way that is fun, friendly and fair
No harsh methods or aversives are used in our training and we are accredited and qualified by the Dog Training College (DTC) and the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), who are a founding member of the UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter
Our Mission
Here at Howls and Prowls we believe that dogs are part of the family and we aim to nurture the bond between canine and human. We aim for happy dogs and happy owners who work as a team through positive, ethical training methods.
We don’t use choke chains, prong or shock collars in our training and instead focus on teamwork and understanding what motivates your dog in order to get the most out of the training we provide.
We offer support for every step of your dog training journey whether you have your dog from a puppy or fully grown, from a rescue or a breeder, we are here to help whatever age your dog is.
Our Trainer
Amy is an IMDT and DTC accredited and qualified trainer who has been working exclusively with dogs since 2018. She has completed a variety of different certifications with different providers over the years and is always seeking to know more about our canine companions.
Always willing to go above and beyond, Amy will support you and your dog for life and thoroughly enjoys seeing the canine-human partnership blossom.
The beautiful dog at the top of this page is Amy’s very own German Shepherd x Malamute dog, she is the very reason why Amy got into dog training and has literally changed her life.
